Can you believe it? This glam little biker babe is all grown up and getting Married on Saturday! Wishing Tonya and Greg a very happy and loving life together!

Last night Tim Tadder surprised us with a spectacular evening planned. A limo came and picked us up after work, took us downtown and dropped us off at Trump Tower. Our first stop was Rebar; where we had the best table in the bar reserved for us, right by the window overlooking the river. After a few drinks our waiter told us we had dinner reservations upstairs at Sixteen. Tim had pre-arranged everything for us — and kept it a secret — so we left it up to the wonderful staff at Trump Tower to lead the way. At Sixteen, we were welcomed by an AMAZING view of the Wrigley building and Tribune Tower where we were wined and dined all evening. We only wished the night could have lasted forever! THANKS TIM!!!

The picture to the right was taken in the limo on our way home….we obviously had a great night!
I made my first trip to Seattle and Portland in September with Tonya as my tour guide. My brother moved to Seattle in July and I got to spend two weekends sight-seeing the city and the islands. The weather was spectacular the whole week. We did a quick run down to Portland and stopped by Weiden + Kennedy and Nemo Design. In Seattle we had the pleasure of going to Wongdoody, Hornall Anderson, Publicis, Creature, and Wexley School for Girls. I can’t wait to get back. liz

Last night we took an Emissary field trip to see Matthew’s band, Inchworm, play at the Double Door. This was a celebration for Grape Juice Record’s 5-year anniversary with 9 bands and a cake from Food Networks “Ace of Cakes.” Duff and his band, …soihadto…, was amongst the featured artists of the night. Tonya was so excited to see Duff, she loves Food Network and their Chefs. She had actually started following Duff’s career before he even had the show “Ace of Cakes.” She could barely contain her excitement. This was a show that will be remembered–great music, great cake and great company!

On Monday August 3rd, I ventured to Kansas City for my first solo trip. I was there the entire week and visited every major agency in the city. I was very impressed with the warm welcome that I got from everyone. Not only were they impressed with all of the Emissary talent; they were excited to see new work. In the evenings, I explored the city and experienced what Kansas City had to offer. I am looking forward to returning next year!
“The Crosstown Classic” is here again and Paul Somers has captured the moment. This famous interleague series is often known to stir up lots of lively conversations amongst the Emissary employees. With an office divided, Liz, Matthew and Tonya are Cub fanatics while Stacey holds her own in defense of her beloved White Sox. The series went down with one rain out and each team walked away with a victory.
